I was in WI. 10 days ago to attend a sled event, I was in IN. for a day before that then I was back here to 80 degrees and sunshine. I lived in the North for 30 years of my life and can tell you that the quality of life is much better here overall "on the coast of Florida". My current game plan is to be in Fl. for 7 months, LOTO, for 4, and our place in the U.P. for 6 weeks or so. I can tell you that Florida is on a growth rate that doesn't compare to any other areas that I see in my travels. The increase in population forces increased housing, restaurants, stores, infrastructure, and every other service that we as humans request--this offers employment and business opportunities at all levels and brings us some of the best in all categories. The one thing I miss is friends and the few family members who have not made the move 80% have but its only a 2 1/2 flight so I frequent often as do they. The second thing that is "not common" in FL. is perch and or walleye, other then that there is nothing you can't have immediately.

I am in Togetee WY riding this week and it is beautiful but I will be ready to hit the warm for a week before I come back up your way for the Brappfest at Springstead on the 26th. As for the "get on a plane to have a steak comment made"--Fun fact (Florida is the 10th largest beef producing state in the nation, WI. is 29th) We have plenty of beef and steak.
