    21' Skater Aluminum Trailers ???????????

    Help
WTB a new Aluminum tandem trailer for a 21' Skater in the North East (preferably N.Y.)

Can't find a dealer that sells a trailer for a 21' Skater on Long Island, N.Y., Load Rite and Venture are the common manufactures but I am told they don't make for 21' cats.

    Anybody buy one recently?
    Thanks
    Frank

Frank, it’s Mario. I know a guy that’ll build you one. It’s the same one that’s under my skater. It’s all galvanized. If you want to come look at it.

    Hey Keith
I heard Neil in Bayshore is long gone

Thanks guys for the recommendations, but I would like to try with a common manufacturer before
going custom. I heard Magic Tilt (made in Florida, has a dealer in Deleware) has built a few so I am going to give them a call, we’ll see

Trailer looks nice from the outside, but I installed a fold-away kit for the tongue, and when I cut it, I noticed the metal is being eaten badly from the inside especially on the bottom. So, I would never sell since it isn’t safe. Probably just cut-it up or give to someone that just launches near them.

I recognize neither of these suggestions are close to Long Island.. Liberator in Texas makes an aluminum trailer for the 21' Liberator I assume would fit a Skater. You could also check with Liberator Florida (Randy), although I'm not sure where his trailers come from.

You should be happy that Venture doesn't build a trailer for your boat. In over 30 years in the marine business, I've never seen such poor engineering and construction.
