Two MadEFI Billet 3L Shift Shaft Seal Carriers

These MadEFI billet 3L shift shaft carriers are $125 each new. They were in my lowers for ~70 hours. The shaft seals are used but in perfect condition and the lower O-rings are new. $125 shipped for the pair or $65 each separately. Paypal only. Please contact dpluhm42@nuveramail.net.

I have never been able to get more than 20 oz of gear oil in my LH lower, no matter how much time I give it and refill. So, I switched to Lakeland vented kits that allow me to overfill it. Never had any issues with the RH. I just fill to the vent and drain out a few ounces. But, they gotta match.

    Thank you for the update.
My Sportmaster with 1.62 gears will hold 32oz +/- 1 ounce after letting it drain overnight while trimmed all the way down. I started seeing a slight amount of water in the oil (I use Mercury Racing oil) the last few years and decided during the off season to have the local Master Mercury Tech install the Mad EFI shift shaft and drive shaft seal carrier upgrades. Should know which seal(s) are creating the problem after the pressure test. My lower is on a 2010 225 Sport XS with only 95 hours and has had yearly oil changes and NO salt or brackish water operation...thought the original seals would last longer.
