    Denis lives in Riviere Beaudette just before Valleyfield. I heard he's still plugging away.

    You said its a XR6 2.0 with 2 bad holes...if it is an XR6 then it would not have had a 2.0L powerhead from the factory...did it get a PH at sometime?

    A stock 2002 XR6 would be 2.5L carb with the flat heads that kinda look like 2.5 opti heads and it would have the pencil style coils.

I think Denis Brodeur lived in or near Valleyfield.
    ...oh i fully understand what you said before. and i don't for a second doubt what you were saying about those makes of boats up that way. i was just speaking in generalities from my boating existence in the past... ( about the cowling thing)

    Here is an example of what you are saying;
    The #44 looks like a Seebold - but - it is actually a Twistercraft with Seebold cowlings. I think this Twistercraft was the 'Rhino'. Oley blew the boat over in 1977 and damaged the front end. Oley and John Scythes repaired the boat and turned it into a pickle fork for the 1978 season. I brought the MOD U Seebold cowlings from St. Louis back for Mercury Canada on top my SE Seebold that I bought from Bill.

    Wish this was a better picture, but if the subject boat was an actual SL race boat this is what it may have looked like. Pretty sure this is a Brodeur hull.

    I would say that is the same boat. Set up with the OMC 20" mid. Was it competitive rig?
