I am not sure on the diff in weight, maybe 150lbs? I can make up almost all of that and have a killer stereo still!

I agree Blake has spent some serious time and effort into making that thing flat out fly! Is there a market for people who want to mod a 300R? If so I could get one running on a stand alone Holley ECU and the flood gates could open.......

The LS combo was discussed. I had a C5 vette wit ha 740hp NA 13.7:1 LS engine that I was going to use on it. I sold the car complete though. It went 172mph in the standing half mile.

Blake has went 118 with a 15" 300xs on his, and I think Mark went 110 with a 300r and just a little bit of testing. Both of those boats where carbon though and lighter then mine. I will be happy with 100-105, but it will take seat and setup time to get there!!! Unless I get lucky like I did with the 16 haha. I wanted 60 out of that one and in the first 10 min with the 90 Yamie it was going 62mph with Jamie and I in it. That is a different ball game though haha!

Wildman, I am sure we will be in touch! I will need a prop at least for the 300r if I go that route and if I remember correctly you have a good handle on the Hill setup for those.

I will keep posting picks here too, the interior should be done in a few weeks and then it will be ready to ship over to me! I will keep weight in mind through the build though. Even though it is not carbon my end weight should be impressive. I will take what I have learned from building cars over to this one. Details count!
I believe Blake's hull is only 800 lb.!

How are these to drive ? Similar to Hydrostream / Allison ? What's a new one cost with say a 300R ?
