    Hey Lake X Kid,

During prop testing this summer I accidentally spun my 1500 battery ignition I6 to 7K. Sounded pretty good. I had no idea they would spin that high.

My wife told me it sounded as good as my 2.5 280. I was amazed she made the comparison. She's heard many years of high RPM 2 stroke V6 Mercury Outboards. Sometimes she tells me I must of had a good run by the sound. I am a lucky man

A guy on 1 of the duck sites I visit just got a Electric longtail, if you don't know what that is it's a elect motor that is hooked to a long shaft people use in mud and weeds to hunt ducks. Up until now they were all 4 stroke air cooled motors. So anyhow he said the range is about 2.5 miles with 4 big deep cycle batteries then it is dead. That is not for me.

Let be real here if a Tesla can go 400 miles on a charge surely they can get a boat to go 50 miles that covers about 90% of pontoons 10 miles to sandbar and 10 miles back plug it on the dock come back in 7 days she ready for round two. All jokes aside battery technology not there yet I’ll give it 5 more years the been a major battery breakthrough every 25 years and been 25 since the last so we’re due
