The good news is that they now know there is a problem and can work to fix it. Way better than the alternative. My prayers are with you.He
    Per Rock:

"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."

    Per my hero Instigator:

"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."

First of all thanks for the kind words and prayers. Been a rough couple weeks losing Dad and now this. Makes the support from ya'll that much more important. Sure makes me feel better knowing I have that level of support. Out of the ICU and in a much quieter place. Special thanks to Nick for posting this. The boating family is strong and I don't think I can really explain how it makes me feel. This is not my first rodeo with heart issues and the fact that I did not take better care of myself is somewhat embarrassing. I came in with 4 100% blockages one of which is in the LAD (widowmaker). The surgeons are amazing and after working on me for about 4 hours they were able to fix that one blockage. However there are still 3 100% blockages I will have to address vey soon. Minner I ain't no Burgess after all. My Dad told me he used to live to eat but now eats to live. Sounds really boring but that is where I am headed. I have had some of the best doctors ands nurses anyone could ask for and for that I am extremely grateful. Thanks again to everyone for the support. You guys are awesome.

Rock, I like you, was a walking dead man. My father nearly died in 2003 with vibrio vulnificus, the flesh eating bacteria. The Dr told us he wouldn't make it throught night when I got to the hospital. The next morning I started getting some tightness in my chest and had trouble breathing. The cardiologist in an unknown to me hospital said the incident with my father triggered some stress in me that showed the heart problems in the form of a heart attack. I was 34 when that hit me and now I try my best to eat to live as well. Follow the Dr's orders and you make it a long while man. Hang in there, I have made it 17 years so far since that ordeal. We need you here brother!!

Nick, thank you for posting, and Rock, thank you for letting us know.

While you are out of the shadow now, some prayers from this side of the ocean are on their way, just as a matter of precaution.

Governor called and I have been freed. Again I want to thank everyone for the concern and prayers. The power of prayer is proven to me once again. Couple things I want to say. First of all please take my event as a warning. My first heart event was 17 years ago which required 3 stents. One year and one day later I was back in the hospital for open heart surgery and received a triple by-pass. During the past 17 years I have seen the cardiologist once a year and taken my meds religiously. At no point was I ever told to do anything but keep doing what I am doing cuz all numbers from blood work were perfect. I did just what I was told however the fact that I was still eating like a moron became an obvious issue but I had no indications it was a problem. Definitely should have known better and this mess I have is solely my fault. I feel bad I caused the grief and concern to my family and so many friends. The point being take care of yourself. When we are young we think we are bulletproof and that is not the case. My stubbornness and lack of willpower to eat what and how I was instructed nearly took me down. Be sensible my friends. We all know what is good and bad for our health and when health takes a crap we can't just throw a piston at it and go again.
During the past few months Chris and I have been trying to decide if we needed to get married, have lived together 28 years, or just get a will made as everything is in my name only. If I checked out I am not sure how the state would address the ownership situation and she is definitely the one that should assume ownership of all my junk. While laying on the table getting worked on I prayed a lot but the prayers were for my wife and my mother. As most of you know Dad passed a few weeks back and no way my 90 year old mother could handle another loss this soon. Could not quit thinking about the fact Chris might be left with nothing due to my procrastination on these legal matters. I am sure most of you do have things in order but I can't be the only one. Gitterdone. This sort of thing comes out of nowhere and it happens fast.
Again thanks for the support and prayers. It means everything to me.
