...even though the black or darker colors look nice, stay away from them. also steer away from the whites or pearl whites. the uv rays will turn them yellow after a few years if you don't always cover the boat.

...warning: you REALLY have to know what your doing, to install this type of rubber matt. you don't get a second chance with placing it, using spray-grade contact adhesive...

Sounds tricky. With the Aqua Tread I found it easy but the largest single panel I had was perhaps 3' x 6'. I removed the backing in a 1" strip down the center of each panel. Positioned it as exact as possible and with such a little adhesive exposed you could get it almost where you wanted. Then I applied pressure to the center of that panel to stick down the 1" section. Then I lifted one side up and peeled the backing off and put that side down and did the same to the other side. Some panels might have been off by 1/8" but with a border around each one you really did not notice it. It was not difficult to do.

The aqua tread/ sea dek gets dirty after a while and will not come clean. Traffic patterns like those in carpet also appear if the boat sees a lot of use. Very light grey is the best. My guide buds have been replacing theirs every 1-2 years. Weekend, or less use boats would go longer between replacements. It is nice under the feet. jm2cts I do not have it in any of my boats.

I was wondering about that normal guy that has his CC out in the weather day after day that Florida sun takes it's toll on everything, now If your boats protected another story looks sweet.

If you have a 30' -35' or smaller boat down here without a cover (or have one and don't use it use it), you just don't care about your boat. Unless it's stored inside.

Have you ever seen them pulling it up?. Just wondering if its like pulling up rubber-backed glued down carpet or if it pulls up clean.

Sorry, I made an error, I have Aqua Traction flooring in my boat. It is only 1 year old, and it is always covered, and stored in our boat lift which also has a roof. We use the boat about 50 hours / year. I think Aqua Tread is another product that is not really similar to Aqua Traction

Aqua Traction for me. The cost is substantially less than Seadek. Had mine for 3 years now and it still looks fantastic. Can't say enough good things about it or the company. The owner came to my shop, plotted the boat digitally, and installed it himself. I know he has a rep in MI.
