Vaccine
My wife went in the Hospital Xmas day, while visiting yesterday her sister called, she has worked 38 years at the same home town hospital that my wife started working at 43 years years ago, she got her Vaccine shot two days ago her only reaction has been being tired so far, NY has been doing well at getting it to it's health care workers but there is a crazy low supply of it according to her sister, she said no one had any reservations about getting it, conversely everyone was quite Happy.

I did leave once for two years never looking at S&F at all, for the same reasons, lies, I said I was considering doing that again but reconsidered, just not going to the BS conspiracy theory section anymore.

Wife's friend?
My wife was admitted Xmas day with cellulitis then they found MRSA, should be discharged tomorrow, hopefully?
I rephrase the original post it was murky, I'm the king of run-on sentences, unfortunately..., while my brother got a English
degree before law school and his daughter has a Doctorate degree in English, I'm still learning to spell my name

Hope your wife has a speedy recovery..
The vaccine??. I was No way was I sticking that in my body 2 weeks ago, But after reading several reliable source articles where several radiologist wanted to be first in line for it because all of the blood clots and permanent lung damage they had viewed on x-rays... I'm kind of on the fence about getting it now. I guess I would be in the second round so I probably have a month to think about it..

I hope your wife has a speedy recovery.
My wife had her first shot last week, her brother got his about the same time. We are in Florida, he’s in Connecticut, they are both front line medical workers. She had a sore arm for a day, he had that and a low grade fever for 2 days, about the same reactions they get with the flu vaccines every year. I’m begging her vaccination team to get a shot but I’m in group 1C, under 65 but with an underlying condition so I may not get the call for a couple weeks.
I’ve done a lot of independent research and have a lot of family in the medical science industry. I have no concerns with the safety and efficacy of these 2 vaccines. It’s not new technology, it’s been under development and testing for over a decade. It just hadn’t been implemented at scale because the diseases it was developed for weren’t a high priority which is big pharma speak for not profitable.Mark

...had knee surgery for torn cartilege. hospital gave me VERY bad case of MRSA. did not know what i had for months & well known/famous doctor/surgeon never said what it was. he aspirated my knee three times as blown up knee was'nt getting better. he prescribed nothing ever. never said why it was taking so long. i was ignorant & trusted him. did not walk for 5 1/2 months. Mental & physical anguish was aweful. never sued. should have. hospital surgery MRSA gifts are way, way, way up these days. its common. it was the worst experience of my life. moral of story: learn everything you can. ask tons of questions. stay out of hospitals at all costs unless you are dying. go to smaller in/out medical clinics for simpler surgeries.

My brother in law got a knee replacement Dr. used a new to him type of glue to insert fixture into bone
The glue did not hold had to do procedure over again
A client had her hip replaced by the best of the best all the top schools so his full page yellow page add said (10 years ago)
DR. installed new hip at wrong angle, the lady was a recovered alcoholic she was so mad between the pain pills and restarting
the booze she died.
My brother was going to a Dr. in his 70's WAS a top notch guy, some how he missed his prostate cancer was advanced, he was
lucky to live, repeated surgery, treatment earlier the better ...

I, for one, understand how easily it is to mislead someone...
Gonna pass on this vaccine.
