Hey BVfast....thanks.... My 6 pack came off a never used 2.0 finger ported 7 reed motor. The way the 6 pack manifold is cast the outer carbs are blocked by the casting. I was going to build a 3.4 offshore motor with the 6 pack. The 3.4 off has a wide and flat reed surface.... and the outer carb blockage will be gone after it meets MR bridgeport.

Dave they used the factory 6 carb front with these adapters to make the mounting surface flat. These are the new ones that came with my new 6 carb front. I gave these to Chris Carson for one he was working on. These are new, same part # as my engine but 1979. Will post some intakes a little later. Still waiting to see someone else's cool stuff, I have lots to put up but this is not just for me to post. But stay tuned" more to come. Lets keep this going. Post some pics. Thanks to all.

This is very cool. Thanks for posting these pics.

I would have loved to hear that run 10K in the Bayou. Fun to look at those castings and see how things progressed over the years.

Looking at that I am reminded of years ago the “x” front half. I was looking for one to see if it would be possible (or work) as an EFI front

Good Evening Everyone. Still not feeling well so I thought I would post some old pics back up again of the 3 new 6 x2 intakes I have. I know who made each one, but let's see who else knows the creators. Dave S. yours should be the one in the middle. I still would like to see what you have. I will start posting pics of some trick engines tomorrow for sure. I know someone's got to have something cool to post, please feel free to join the party. Bull I'm certain I know you because your name is very familiar to me for some reason, maybe too many hard hits to my head or just too many birthdays catching up with me. Thanks again to all and just be patient I could write a book about all of my adventures with outboards and boat racing. What a ride!!!!
