Old school hot rod outboards
I would like to see pics. of the hot rod outboards that we raced 30 yrs. ago, or so. They can be factory, one off stuff, aftermarket, homemade, experimental, or whatever you have. Can be your own stuff or a pic. you have of another persons creation.Let this be only outboards. So let us see those trick induction systems, blocks, heads, exhaust, mids, gearcases & whatever else you have, even if it,s just a part on the wall or shelf in the old barn let us bring this old racing tec. out for others to see. I am sure many have never seen most of the things we used or made back in the day. I think this will be a very interesting & informing post for all. Thank you to all who post.

One of my favorite motors of all time.
A Merc toilet bowl Mk 20H.
I loved building/racing those things.
And a Yamato 80.
40 yrs and 30 lbs ago.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
