good company for hard to find

Started messing with old outboards and was given discount-marine-parts.com by one of our members. Good outfit that has helped me with middle 1950s parts. They did not have one of the items I needed and referred me to Stetson and Pinkham which not only had the part (1956 pinion gear) but it was still in Merc packaging and they only charged me $55. Nice to find the antique part and not get raped acquiring it.

Interesting-what did the entire engine cost new in 1955?

Oldest price list I could find was from 1970:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brochure-19...-/254705139563
