Picked up a Brucato ACU and a Brenden Powers slide intake from a guy. But I didn't get any mounting directions. I can see several ways to mount the ACU.
Use the bracket or not use the bracket?

I think it is a more cleaner look to mount the ACU strait to the black slide intake with 2 of the rubber studs. The 3rd hole won't line up to anything.

Mount in the boat is cleanest in my opinion. Think CDI has extension harness

Would there be anything wrong with eliciting the big bracket that is between the ACU and the intake? Such as this?

I’m not sure . You probably need to call Brendan Powers’s at powered performance or David Dreifort to be sure not to damage anything

That looks a lot cleaner without the double bracket.

I worked on it last nite and was able to fit the ACU to the slide intake with very little work. The front two holes on the slide lined up with the Brucato bracket. But the single rear hole didn't have anywhere to go. It may bee fine with just the front two. Bit I drilled and tapped the reed plate for a rear mount also. Using all 3 rubber mounts I really like the way this turned out and cleans up the front. Personally I dont see any reason to use the large bracket at all.

Very cool post you have here. I'm especially interested in the intake you have installed. What did you previously have installed for an intake?

That is the fuel curve that was in the ECU.

It will be nearly impossible to tell what advantages the slide had done. Remember this was a stock Promax that has has been bored new pistons intake and ACU all done to it over the winter. So I'm hoping it will push my Viking a lil quicker.
