260 tuner and smooth can wanted

Looking for a smooth back mid with 260 tuner. I have my own clamp assemble so that’s not needed.

Out of curiosity. What are the differences between the 280/260 mid? Obviously the tuners would be different but anything else?

I was told the other day the outside portion is a bit different then then the 260. I’m looking for another 260 can.

The only difference is the casting and the plastic guide. Other than that they’re pretty much the same including the tuners. Some 260s came with round tuners, most were square.

260 and 280 tuners are different, 260 Square, 280 round tuner... but you're correct, the 280 exhaust plate has extra material for wing plates... they were only offered on the alien cowls as that (Alien) skirt clears the thicker material... a stock 260 skirt will not clear it... but if you want to run a 260/Drag cowl and want to run the skirt, you need to either cut off the extra material, or buy the modified 260/Drag skirts available from Chris Dunn, that look the same, but will fit...
