What was the difference in setback between that and a 2.5? Would a cleaver be a better option to get the transom to lift a bit? Just seems like an awful lot of added weight up and back to have zero side affects

We have been having positive results with 12”of setback with these heavier 3L motors , less positive trim to fly it and flying them flatter , getting ready to put a 12” on mine

We ran a 5" jackplate when running the Etec. The setup was more for drag racing. Ran big diameter drag/et cut choppers. Won Lake Racer high points with this setup. Only ran it 1 year before switching to a 3.3L EFI motor.
