    not sure how the location of the CG was determined

    from my friends owning other cats, I was told never to use the fuel to correct or move the CG...when the fuel runs out...the CG will also move

    I watched the Skater guys move hardware around to generate the designed/desired CG , and with fixed hardware locations...the CG shall not shift


    but you knew all of this, why ask

    ...stream, its not much different than rigging any other "pleasure" use cat, with regards to tank placement. you don't want to put them in the forward third of the boat. and you don't want to put them in the rear third of the boat. putting together a "race" cat for a specific type of racing can be slightly more critical on tank location, along with the rest of the rigging involved...

    I give these guys credit for guts and hard work. The picture in post #22 looks very sanitary "not many boats escape final production without gloves, paper, and peel ply remains becoming permanent residents".
