Scarab = Sea-Doo
Sea -Doo went down from the great recession that started in 2007 in 2012 they stopped making them
They were bought by Rec Boat Holdings and became Scarab still use Rotax motors
Yamaha all the way not a fan of Rotax... personal problemLast edited by CUDA; 11-26-2020 at 03:56 PM.

I just don't get the jet boat market (in this sense anyways, I do understand the shallow river aluminum ones). What does this boat give you that you can't get in a non-jet boat?

boating down here where the topography changes with every tide movement i'm kinda liking the idea. lower units are very expensive to run across flats draging a skeg and sucking up sand or mud. if you don't stay on top of everything you can get in trouble in a hurry, a boat floats in 2' off plane is very versatile.
