7 ft beam is not that small that's the same as the Sleekcraft cuddy cabin I'm playing with

I've never checked on the price but prepreg carbon would be easier, still should use vacuum but simpler than infusion, I'm planning on making a mold after I'm done testing,

There is no money in small boats and with today's outboards engines it changes everything, I've owned one inboard boat 40 years ago and that was enough.

I like the Day-Cruiser Idea with a place for a head and a place to hide out, I've run from many lightning storms in south Fl.

My boat also started out as a inboard converted it 20 years ago.

No Fujimo, you said you knew it was "light" so that means you have the actual number, correct?

The weight of the 21 is commonly known, but only you know the weight of the 24. Please share the details/

...when i said that the 24 is built lighter than previous v-bottoms, what i mean is, that the tuff 24 is built lighter than other manufacturers v-bottoms that have been built in the past. not that the 24 is built lighter than any of the other tuff v-bottoms that have been built. this is one of tuffs performance advantages. performance boat builders lamination schedules can & do change over time. a hull & deck that weighs a certain finished weight one month, can be improved upon, and can weigh a certain different finished weight in the future. glass shops constantly evolve in processes. like i said, tuff can give the best answer on the current weight of a bare 24 if you need it, not me.

Canada Day is July 1. It was a big deal when Heinz pulled ketchup production out of Leamington (near me), which was a boost for French’s

    Sorta Kinda Maybe
Firstly the 24 is heavier than the 21, the owner that spends a lot of time fooling with set up ran 118 MPH with his tuff 24, it has a DBR stage 1 kit on the motor. His 21 which was 890 ish lbs (hulls and deck) ran a best of 106. Same motor on both boats. Keep in mind these are full interior lake boats.
Do not be fooled into thinking it is just a light boat, that is only a small part of the tail. The pad isn't just a pad, there is a lot going on around it. IF you think you can build a light boat with a pad and pull the numbers off you will fail like ever one else that has tried.
The Tuff 28, then 16 then 24 and now the 34 are all 100% from Mark. They are each lessons learned from each other, no part is interchangeable all new all CNC plugs.

    Thumbs up

It looks like the pad area stops 4-5 foot from the rear then a concave area to the stern, very hard to see any detail from above picture, I LOVE to see someone doing something trully different
    Great job Mark
