Middle coils light spark

Hey guys new to scream and fly
I got a 2000 carb mercury 200 20in shaft
and it’s giving me trouble getting on plane
upon diagnosis I found coils 2&4 giving me light spark
I have no diagnosed the stator nor the trigger
could I be looking at somethings else boat won’t go over 3k

Try swap switch boxes around and c if move to 1 and 3

If stays on 2 and 4 look at stator
U can swap coils/wires around also to make sure its not coils , good thing is ,those coils don't go out very often , welcome to s&f

Thanks man will look into that currently had to get a new dmm
but definitely something to help trouble shoot

Being a 2000 model its prob cdm ignition without switchboxes ? Idk they started changing over in 2000. Would need a pic

If it is switchboxes, use a DVA with your DMM.
