2000 225 Mercury Pro Max
I have a 2000 2.5 225 pro max with matching numbers mid section and Power head. Has alien cowl and pan. Has a sport master lower. Engine has 18 hours on complete rebuild with metal cage bearings and top pin pistons. Engine is still on my mirage if you would like a video of it running. Engine has a 6750 limiter. Turns my 30 et to the limiter at 98.6 mph. Bought a 260 so this one needs a new home. Will ship anywhere on your dime. Not sure how to download pics but I can text them to anyone interested. Pulled engine off boat this afternoon. I did a compression check before removing the engine. 132 to 136 on all 6

The 225 I have is a stock engine at 6750 rpm. I would like to sell the stock motor. It runs like a sowing machine. The 260 I have is beefed up a little and is set to turn around 8750. Should make one hell of an improvement in my top speed. The 225 will turn a bigger prop but I’m looking for more of a drag setup. Smaller prop more rpm= much more fun.
