We always called those side flag terminals.
I use an Anderson plug [just like on aircraft] as a quick connect to my boat battery/charger. The gel-filled heat shrink is my favorite.

I've just spent $106 at Pacer. 100 different ring terminals in different sizes and a new crimper tool for 8 ~ 22 gauge wire.
Thanks FUJIMO! All.

I think brunswick owns del city? It's crazy how many of the supply companies got bought up by brunswick. Attwood is another that comes to mind.

I was after some similar "flag" style connectors. They are a ring style terminal that crimp at a 90. I used them for all the grounds on the blue sea bus bar. I found them at McMaster-Carr. Had to buy a 100. Might have cost 6 or 8 bucks, but the shipping was over 20...... GRRRRRRRRR.

I’m in process of final wire/rig on one of my boat projects and doing same.
I saw 90* and 45* ring terminals but were for battery cables.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

I really like the Pacer crimp tool and terminals. I bought their heat-shrink crimp tool and eyelets. The connections are very tight and the quality shrink does a great job of sealing the work. Best money I've spent in a while....Thanks again FUJIMO, All -

I don't like the crimp connectors with the heat shrink tube on them. No matter what crimp tool you use, you will cut the heat shrink tube and ruin the seal. I prefer using bare terminals and add the heat shrink tubing after crimping. You have better control over placement and you won't cut the heat shrink tubing during crimping.
