Yes sir ... me too. Other wise I would have gave up long ago ..

Speakin of snook. All the kids that have grown up on my street for the last 25 years or so ... must pass along a secret they won't tell the adults about. They ride their bikes 150 yards to the river , 20 minutes later they drag the tail of a lunker home to mom .. lets eat

this would be evinrude type of timing, to open a big restaurant......for desert, you could order your gal the evinrude ice cream...

They already gotz one ... right down the block from your cousin Mitch's place..

They are "black motor" friendly , and the couple birthday party's I been to , had a scoop of vanilla over a slice of chocolate fudge cake .. <---{river water[-=

Fish taco's are great .. and ya don't feel like ya need to roll thru Micky-D's on the way home to feel like ya ate enough to make it thru the night without starvin to death ..

    I ****ing hate changing oil.

    My mannn ..

Chaz= thinkin, Markie-Mark .. get ya a work visa, plenty of places to change oil ..

I think the damage to the brand name was beyond timely recovery regardless of the product...time not many companies in this day and age can endure.
BRP could get back into the market with 4 strokes then start popping a few 2stroke lightweight models into HP ranges that lightweight suits.
They still have their 850cc efi sled engine.

That seemed like the direction they were going with the 3cyl and all but the cash flow must not have been there.

There are no plans whatsoever to get back in the outboard market. The Sturtevant facility has already been partially changed to a boat assembly facility and the APS division isn't working on anything outboard related.

How are they planning to supply parts for warranty claims down the road?

Parts and assemblies are on the shelves. Parts vendors to secondary wholesalers. Its not rocket science.

So the same bean counters that fusked up the place have now came up with the magic number of 2.7/3.4 powerheads, left and right Gearcases and all the other shizit like flywheels to meet the warranties on motors sold from 2014 to 2020, no freakin way... Man I have drank more omc coolaid than Gary, well maybe about the same lol... and have 3 rude powered boats in my yard right now and a garage full of rude stuff so i should be the last one to bash the name but there's no way their going to be able to take care of the customers needs 10yrs from now. As for the vendor supplied components...yea their going to love paying for parts with zero return, wait n see how they handle that one... If we were talking about snow mobiles and atvs that sit in a garage most of their life the scenario may be different but outboards are going to have issues inside the warranty period and that warranty is non declining, the reason they swapped out gearcases and midsections for paint issues. So What will they do when certain parts do run low... will they be available for purchase or held for warranty claims... Time will tell but most companies don't do the right thing.. hope they prove me wrong.

When they were on the floor for sale ... parts showed up strapped to a turtles back. So now that they went in the tank , parts and wty technicians are stocked to the ceiling wherever the big new Evinrude signs are displayed ...

Rocket science ... not as hard as ya think, you could start here --->

...honestly, i don't think it will be too too long, until other motors will be sought out, to scavenge repair parts from. a few short years maybe. the "road warrior" syndrome...
