Thanks it's probably out of my price range though. I figured if I could get something cheap at an auction I might be able to swing it. Just looking to get something cheap that will make my boat run faster than my 200

So who watched day 1?
It seemed to me like pretty much every marine auction I've attended. Stuff that you thought should go cheap went almost at new prices. There were some deals to be had though. The parts & props that I saw go through seemed to be high as well.
The prototype motor went for $9750 US.
Also it was sooooo slow. They were trying to really milk every last dollar out of those outboards.

There is probably the biggest number of real test propellers for sale ever - several lots. Considering what they sell for used on here that could be a find for somebody.

No power packs?
I guess they had to shut down the test center because of lack of spark.Markus' Performance Boating Links:

Here in MD at an auction a row of old small OMCs.....on stands.... didn't get any good bids. So the whole LOT went for $5......Just what a guy told me.... I wasn't there.

Yeah those injectors are in high demand. They aren't bad by design but are super sensitive to debris and water.
The biggest problem with them is that dealers don't know they can be cleaned, or don't care to have them cleaned. Just sell new.
Depending what style and where you get em, they can be over $500 US a piece, plus paying the dealer to reprogram the EMM

I watched some props, bought a LH 28” Raker for my Convincor project and watched a new old stock V-8 long block w/a couple of cases but it went to $2k!
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
