From a 20' closed deck Champion bass boat hull with an Evolution Phase II GT200, to a 26' Monterey with a 496 Mag and finally back to an outboard. I didn't realize how much I missed outboards and yes, while it is 20 years old, its still a fun platform for me to keep learning.

2000 Triton SF-21 with a Merc 200 EFI (Not sure if EE or FF, lol).

One owner boat with engine bolted on transom, 2nd hole from top spinning a 21" Vengeance between 5,800 and 6,000 gps'ing upper 50's. I'd like to make this a consistent mid 60's normal load boat with an occasional 70 mph run lightened up.

Already had to replace regulators and still drops 2 cylinders occasionally, so I took a chance on an injector driver going bad in the ECU and getting a Brucato ACU delivered this afternoon. I just want to make sure it is running well before I winterize it.

Assuming the ACU solves the problem, I plan to mount an 8" or 10" Z-Loc manual plate and turn a 23" or 24" Trophy or Tempest Plus.

What water psi are these engines happy with? Thinking of blocking off upper water intake slots, but haven't researched it fully yet?

Any advice on successes with setting up a heavier fish and ski would be appreciated. Setback, engine height, prop pitch?, etc. etc.
