It's forge steel. Heat it with a torch and bend it down a tad. I did this with mine

That is such a cool little boat, yet it has as much room in it as my Mirage.

    Thanks, can't wait either.

Got most of the foam out of the boat, got a little more to get out in the bow. Going to clean up the inside and gelcoat everything. Got to find bucket seats and make mounts shifter/foot throttle mount also and cut down and glass over the bulkheads where they just tabbed them in.

Yea to make it legal for them to cover their ass, typically it would go under the floor but I'm not doing a floor since it's cored so i took it out. Only removed 20lbs unfortunately but not going to sweat it. I weighed everything today... Boat hull weighed 435lbs, significantly heavier than I anticipated since I was told it would weigh around 350 but it's very well laid up and it's still lighter than my bullet was and this boat is massive in comparison to the bullet in terms of space and size being only 3" longer. It's really a big boat for a 13 footer. 6ft3in wide with a cockpit of over 5 ft wide and 6ft long..The sides transom freeboard etc. are a lot taller than the 13ft bullet. My wife already likes it a lot better so I'm off to a good start. The SST60 with pro 50 Trim assembly came in at right around 190lbs.. that's light for a 95hp engine, people seem to falsify weight like speeds for whatever reason but I prefer to keep it real. Here's some pictures of the weights I got today.

Got trailer finished, boat on trailer, drilled transom and started to mock up engine. I ordered some transom wedges but may also need to cut the clamp brackets off the trim assembly as it hits the jackplate. I need the come down them extra 2 holes it's preventing me of doing so.

I cut the clamp brackets off as they hit the jack plate but now run into clearance issues with the steering arm, may either need to go with a side ram steering or add more setback, I did order some wedges for negative trim so will see if that gives me the clearance I need or not. I put a level on the sponsors and a piece of angle to the gear case as it sits with the clearance issues I have the prop shaft or the tip of the bullet will be roughly 2 in above the bottom of the sponson Not sure if that will be low enough for the lowest setting with the jack plate all the way down, I will be running a sponson water pickup so I'm not concerned about getting enough water Just issues with getting on plane I know it's a tunnel so naturally the gear case will be higher but will have to see if it works or not. I can go down one more hole if I'm able to get the clearance I need for the steering arm which will drop about an inch.

Got one also in a 23 pitch thinking of doing the same thing with mine. It would go on my Stinger for the Delta. Let us know what you end up doing to it.
    Thanks
