Lengthen the two sponsons and make it just a tad more modern and this boat is a winner.

I wanted to do that.. I was advised not to run a side ram If not needed.

Bad advisor. Can't beat six mounting points for a plate along with a pin and ram for strength. I say go for it.

If I did that I could have eliminated the need for the shaft to be bored out and used the stock sst60 swivel shaft as i would not have needed the arm on it for the steering ram to bolt to thats the ,main reason why I wanted to use a side ram.. It would also eliminate the clearance issue im running into with the sst cowling pan touching the bolt and the hydro steering ram arm.
