Never forget seeing a bunch of engines mounted to a barge/seawall at placida running till they blew or reached a certain time w/o blowing. The fuel that was burned was incredible. But the sound was like music to my 20 yr old ears...

The mercury test boats here in Panama City also have to wear a helmet and life jacket even in the small boats with little stick steering motors. Cant just run around ware you want, have to stay on coarse.

That's pretty much it... I mean there was 7,500 miles of WOT running in a 24' Progression with a 300hp outboard on somebody else's gas bill; and hanging out in the dyno room on the really bad weather days.

I liked the sound of it on the first post, after reading the rest, it doesn't sound so great. I guess the upside is the repair bill won't be coming out of your own pocket this time.
