The FF block has different angle on the top of exhaust runners...smoother tanisition to the chest...all 2.5s can be hopped up.... just the FF gives ya a better starting point.........Take a 150 and raise the exhaust ports to the roof of the port casting = 200.......

Ok, now im confused. Ive got a single F stamp 200 with matching halves but its not a 7 petal. I was told before that sometimes the factory replacement blocks had single letter designation to differentiate them from original parts. I bought this powerhead from a friend not too long ago so havent opened it up yet but the reed plate is definitely 5 petal. Can anyone clear this up for me so i dont have to open it up this afternoon hahaha?

I’ve got a 96 and a 97 FF 200 Carb. One says “Offshore” on the cowl, the other doesn’t.

It's very important to note that chart is NOT something official from Mercury. The guy who did it just stuck the Merc logo on it to make it look nice.
Ever since he did it people have been calling me trying to find a "260 Drag".....Well guess what? It doesn't exist. It's just another case of people reading information into something that isn't there. Story I heard was that at the end of production Merc ran out of 260 blocks and started using Drag blocks, but they still have 260 porting and are still 260's.
Christ.....I just started ANOTHER stampedeLiving in the Freedom provided by Bud Conner and his fellow warriors.

In my experience all EFI 200’s are FF’s, but not all FF’s are EFI
