Yeah If you watch the video real close you can see a couple 300r boats blow right past him!!. Looked like he was sitting still. I think they were tri toons but they were going so fast with the R power it was hard to tell They was almost going to fast for the camera but I caught it.

You see lots of things that others don't "you are special". One thing I didn't see this week was anyone running a race boat by themselves or anyone using your light weight shock absorbing cockpit idea. Come up to the Suwanee river run and see how many of the 300Rs that you beat from the ramp to the gulf on Friday or from fanning springs to the split on Saturday (they won't be stopping for fuel).

Getting hit with that rooster tail HAS to hurt, the early MVP days when most boats were V bottoms they used more trim than later tunnels and that was a rush to get a face full and those boats were sub 100mph you weren't going underneath low bridges, just would never happen in our over protective world of ambulance lawyers.
Years ago we had a marathon race around Grand Island about 30 miles, Long Gone, Tonawanda NY always had inboard hydro's up to 7L flat bottom SK boats once to twice a year, don't believe that's going on anymore, But down river in N Tonawanda they are still racing till this crazy year, the river is a lot wider at Gratwick Park on the Niagara river, so the water is calmer it's right above the mighty Niagara Falls very fast current, I was a member of the Gratwick Hose fire department in the 70's till I moved away.We have invented the world; WE see

Since your to dense to get the passive aggressive message I'll spell it out for you in plain English. This was a nice smile inducing thread, that involved a turbine engine jet boat ripping down a river. No outboards were involved , nor wanted,. Keep your ****ing mercury 4 joke propaganda out of here. The internet has enough advertising and commercials. Your mercury 4 joke commercials aren't needed or wanted on this thread.
You and your 4 joke zealot propaganda have ruined the one thread today that put a smile on my face and I doubt I'm alone in this thought.
Didn't your mother tell you, if you can't say anything nice then don't 4 joke anything at all..
For your other comment. Not my fault you idolize people who only have enough$$ to race boats, yet are completely lacking the brains to build a stable / drivable one, and also lack the skill to drive one without help.

My response was about hauling the mail "just as the thread is titled". We are mostly an outboard forum so it was mentioned. The speed these guys are running and length of time they are doing it for is sketchy and they have guts to do it.

Brilliant I added my first spammer to the ignore list. This place should be much nicer without all the R motor propaganda.

Holy friggin hell. I need to go take my BP medication now! Those guys are frickin suicidal. Just one wrong twitch going under one of those bridges and they’d be like bugs on a windscreen.
