77 inline 4cyl 850 bogging during acceleration
motor has the switch box ignition. New plugs and wires. Carbs disassembled and cleaned , new floats. Timing checked. 93 octane. Starts and idles great, does not stumble when putting in gear and runs fine on top end when it gets past the bog. Just has the bog when trying to get on plane. My thought is to take down the carbs again and see if I missed something. Any other ideas?

1977 16ft Dixie bass boat. prop is SS. Think it is 14x13. I'm out of town right now. going to try adjusting idle speed screws when I get back. Manual says too lean can cause acceleration problems.

opened up idle air screws 1/4 turn, problem solved. More rpms on top end too.
