The pic posted for your reference by Aaronhl shows his date code (01 13 94) and then 2 letters (FF) by where the block halves meet.
The question for you is what are those 2 letters by where the block halves meet, if they are there at all (they are down and towards the front of the motor about an inch from the date code)8' Yellow Jacket - 25 hp Mariner
