...i like how some of these builders call it a 22...like battlewagon does... if out of an original hull mold copy, they are a little over 20 feet long...

...did battlewagon even build that one they show? a lot of times when startups of a new model have access to a new-to-them mold, they use an older build photo from a boat that someone else built. commonly done.

I just visited Battlewagon Powerboats, Christian is such a nice, respectful, knowledgeable guy. A devoted person who has two priorities...keeping his wife and children happy and building strong, fast boats. His operation is very streamlined and his business is in the up and up.

We walked the farm, which he owns outright so no pressure on him to build many boats, and he builds his boats with high quality. In the main building is where he finishes off his builds and in another smaller building is where the 21 footer mold is, which by the way is in very good shape. Mind you these buildings are your typical farm buildings and from the outside you could not tell speed boats are being designed and built there.

This afternoon he's running off to the Jersey shore to give a hand to a racing team who is competing in a BW21 in the OPA circuit.

Here's a bit of some good news to folks who want to begin racing but don't have the big funds. The Battlewagon 21 is very competitive in class-7 and Christian will dare his racers to try and break his boats, they're that strong. If in the event the boat breaks in a crash or whatever, Christian is very willing to help you get your boat back in order.
