I try to stay out of the politics on this site. I often find myself writing a whole reply, then just delete it before posting. It's not worth it, not going to change anyones mind these days. People are dug into their ways/side and regardless of facts, stick to their beliefs.

I've always treated this place as my retreat from all of it. I've always found everyone happy to help and share their wisdom. I'm new to this stuff and still have more questions than answers.

Here's my first crack at a nose cone job. Everything is 100% welded, just need to start sanding the filler. Going on the original 2.0 175 on my Hydrostream restoration.

When you post the picture, double click on it and look at the options. One of them will be "full size" check that box.

That’s funny, because that’s been keeping me from sharing my summer project, since I have the “wrong” power...

I decided to change up the running surfaces on my 23 Daytona by adding spray rails and a modified pod from a 30 Speedster. Trying to minimize/eliminate the 65-85 hop.

Yeah, I'm jealous of you guys who can do that level of work. Will say I recently acquired a 25 liberator with the center pod and absolutely does not hop at any speed. Looks to be similar to what you're doing on your Daytona. Bet it will work well.

My hull work has consisted of some Marinetex on a few dings here and there.

This site has been of great help to me. Just this past weekend I had 2 questions answered that were both of tremendous help. Looking for the bolt sizes for a steering lock plate to mount a motor on a pallet then had 4 extra bolts after reassembling the fuel injection on a motor. Waited way too long between tear down and reassembly.
Got straightforward answers in just minutes on both posts. Thanks to all for sharing knowledge.

Haven't made a river run gathering all year and gonna miss the Suwannee run in a couple weeks. Have a wedding I need to attend.
