HydroSkreamin...I lost your number. Would like to take you up on that visit. I thought I was the only guy around here that would jump in that deep. You go boy! Wow thats is a ton of work, good for you! You must be itching all the time.
Hula..Love that Krypto. That boat turned out great. That has got to be the ultimate single outboard V for its size. I looked at those a long time. Looks like a blast going over that stuff on Winne. I was hoping to get a look at it when take a look at Hydros Eliminator.
PS I'd like to talk to the guy with the Silver Stream. If you on here could you please send me a PM. I maybe setting up a rig very similar to that and have some questions.
Did my last pass yesterday afternoon. Pretty much had the lake to myself. Nothing but glass water. It was a perfect afternoon for it. Sunny, Low dew point & humidity 60ish, next to no wind. Stringing it out on the edge. That motor just does not want to break.
I have about 5 months now to see what my Hot Rod boat is going to be. Will be very interesting to see how things are in Spring or 2021. Hoping all will be well and good gas will be cheap

Hey Gary,
That bracket on the back of the Mate turned out great. Love the decals on the motors. I see a couple of props up on the wall I'll call ya about.
You looking at the Panhandle area? I hope to be poking around the St Johns and the central FL freshwater chains this winter. You taking the CC down to poke around?

been thinking on this for a week or so, I agree completely. just went over the 1st page and the last to get a feel where it's going. I want to propose a new thread on a topic that we should all be able to feel good about ,,,, da ta da da , the " Sandbar Circuit " because bottom line is the best time we can spend in this here deal is at a remote location away from all the less desirable people of day to day life and casually and look over everyone's equipment at our own speed with some demonstration going on safely. of course with a few grills going for the wieners n burgers and such ,,, whatcha think ? fun out
most overnite successes usually take at least 10 years

Most "sandbar pictures" I have taken ... don't belong in the "General Boating" section ..

The political posts need to be kept in the appropriate forums, which is why I created them. I really take all this feedback very seriously, and I am most interested in keeping S&F a place you all want it to be. Social media is great but I don't want this site to change what it began as - like Gary said, a hot rod outboard site.
I've considered removing the political forum because often debates, shall we say, can get out of hand. I realize political subject matter invites escalation, and often political matters can intersect with boating regulations and changes. But in the end, I'll do what you all feel is best.
And Gary, the boat looks great! Let's have another Rumble On the River so I can see it

My father just settled into a canal pad in Astor a few months ago. We’ve boated there as a family since the 70s, but always had to tow an hour and a half. It’s nice being a local now. For some reason I don’t mind driving up there to help out with his projects...
Congrats!

Sounds like we are all going to be neighbors, I am working on getting one in Astor as well. I think it will be welcomed change for Hula...
