Starting a new 22 Liberator with a Mercury 450R

I started this new 22 this past Monday. It is the first of two 450R boats I have orders for. I sold a customer in Minnesota a new 22 with a 300R this summer. He called 3 weeks later and ordered this one with a 450R. This one will have black, blue pearl, and silver marble graphics. I got the back area all sanded and ready for the gray Awlgrip. In the last pic, you can see that after I tape one side, I make a template to reverse for the other side so both sides are symetric.

I did one last year. Ran 123. Here's a video. I had to slow down at 122 in my "test lake" because my lake is only 1.25 miles wide.

Wildman, do you do renderings for the clients or are things left to your creative talents?

The customers usually see a boat that I have previously done and sometimes want a few changes. Until this year most of the boats I just do the way I want and then sell them later. This year I have a lot of boats that are ordered

Getting closer. Still waiting on a backordered harness. The I can put the interior in. Bottoms of the 3 sponsons is black Seadek. Yellow tape is in the center to keep it clean for now.
