Thanks for that link I saw pics of that build. It looks like he built the strake beside the pad using premix fiberglass is that how he did it? I didn’t see any pics at all of the short strakes he added does anyone know how he built those?

I guess he’s not on s&f? Very interesting design. Got me thinking about hull improvements. Is there any downside to those mods he did?

He's not on S&F as far as I know. I believe he used a closed cell foam and glassed them in for the bottom mods.

No one has ever saw a stream run like THAT

But of course it's not a the original bottom design, which makes the difference, pull a mold off of it, making a mold is easy on a small boat.

Wax, tooling gel coat, mat, build up, support, make more.

I’d love to know some measurements of those mods. Is the pad lower than factory or is the second chine ( strake? ) Added onto the side? Is the overall width wider than the factory pad or is the bottom of it narrower and the second step the factory width?

You get no answers to every question you don’t ask

I really like how level that boat runs and the only thing I don’t really like about the 18’ streams I’ve had is the hole shot is less than great compared to other boats I’ve owned. Im very impressed with this boat and congratulate the man for building such a great rig
