Oil Res Alarm Issue
2002 200 EFI 2.5L W/ port side engine res
Symptom started after main harness to gauges came unconnected during a rough water run. Started 4 beeping at me. When I brought the gauges back up it alarmed with 74% reserve remaining on my SC1000.
I get it home and bleed oil into the res, to the point of overflowing and it is decreasing in volume by 1% gradually over continuous diag run time. Disconnect the res blue lines and it still shows the previous level on the gauge and still continuously counts down the res volume by 1% even when disconnected.
Does anyone have any idea how to get this thing to clear and what would cause this phantom tank the ECU is reading? Currently still disconnected and now down to 49% despite being full still.
