Crossflow 110 1986 mods

I saw a thread somewhere that said the V6 crossflow GT engines came with scalloped pistons from the factory , did you happen to notice if the GT100 had them ?
I just looked at a 1990 GT100 last week .

N0 they did not.

The only motors that came with the scalloped pistons were the 235's. All the other gt's and xp's were just factory motors with bigger carbs and maybe tighter heads. It gave them 10-15 % more hp than the number on the cowl sticker. Case in point......stock 150......1-1/4 carbs with tub heads. Gt150......1-5/16" or 1-3/8 carbs with tighter heads........more power.........same block......nothing else done
