there are EPA regs for WIG aircraft?
Or will they call it a boat due to my waterpickup to cool the flux capacitor and then the project will need to be EPA compliant, damn?

PS didnt H20F1 or someone spend big to make a F1 electric boat prototype, all in the news a couple of years back?

Those questions can better be answered by cuder , but being right of center chance's are good I won't understand those design project's that were only pursued to waste cubic yards of American currency.

WIG is short for WIG-WAM , which is heated by wood and buffalo hide. The tree huggers and PITA show up in vehicles that neither fly or cut thru the water very well to serve EPA papers.

Flux capacitor is a vessel that stores rosin that is used in the soldering process . Since there is no one in the EPA that knows how to solder. All they know is that the words usually associated are "joining metal" and "soldering gun" .. they have gotten the "ATF" and "building code violation" dept. involved.

H2OF1 is the water / fire dept. They usually bring BLM ( Bureau of Land Mgt) officials to every scene where a boat sank that was powered by 5000 lit/ion cells.
If they find that the owner got stuck with a dead battery and emptied his .45 ACP into the bottom they will put him in jail for no less than 10 years. If the battery shorted out and killed all occupants on board , then they will charge any remaining family members up to $1,000,000.00 each to be used for battery R+D , or to stuff their pockets .. whichever comes first .

Mercury Racing completed work on the E1-X, a prototype electric outboard for the E1 Series, a new powerboat racing series expected to debut in 2023. Mercury Racing joins the E1 Series as Official Propulsion and Propeller Partner and, as part of that partnership, will contribute to development of the propulsion architecture and propeller for the RaceBird powerboat.
