Where can I get parts for my Marine Machine Rams

I have a Marine Machine Ram That I had for years . Couple days ago my steering got very hard and I discover that it was my stroke Rod in my ram that was slightly bend. I don’t know If there is a aftermarket rod for sale or does anyone know where I could get one from ? Or can the rod be heated and straighten? Can Mayfair Rod work for my ram?.

if marine machine isn't around anymore (idk?) any machine shop worth their salt should be able to replicate the shaft that bent. might be cost prohibitive to have that done versus just buying a new cylinder but worth investigating I guess.

...can't imagine how it got bent but... yes, any good size hydraulic shop can bend back a minor deflection bend on an arbor press & reseal the cylinder. very cost effective to do. if nothing on tortola, you can ship it to Hydraulic Supply in Ft. Lauderdale & they can do it. Hydraulic Supply also has shops all over florida & elswhere. you should figure out why it happened as well, so it does not happen again. its unusual. geometry might be off, or? worst case, a new or used cylinder can be bought on-line.

Great point I didn't note in my reply, there's is absolutely a reason it bent and that must be addressed!

...that is why i mentioned it. those cylinders shafts never bend, they are the best money can buy for a reason. same goes for simular brands of the same design, like zeiger, latham, connor, etc... something really has to be rigged wrong for this to happen, short of an accident that is.

I have never ever seen one bend. And I am sure a seal will go before the shaft bending. And yes, the mayfair, marine machine & imco are interchangable.
