    Triton boats

Is anyone familiar enough with Triton boats to know if the TR21 (bass boat) and the SF-21 (fish and ski) share the same hull? I just purchased a 2000 SF-21 with a 2000 Mercury 200 EFI bolted directly to the transom.

Gonna add a jackplate and prop, but trying to determine setback, engine height with stock lower and prop.

If anyone has experience with setup on this boat, please share.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I dont know for certain, but the keel looks much deeper than the triton bass boat my buddy had. The one in your picture almost looks like a multispecies hull?

Yes, trying to determine between 6", 8" or 10" z-lock. It's a very cab forward boat, so I would think that the center of gravity is pretty far forward. Little concerned about the transom with the engine on a 10". Probably going to settle at the 8". I've read that the Trophy Plus or Tempest is a good prop for these heavier (nose heavy) hulls.

I have been. There is some information there, but mainly on the bass boat hulls, not the fish and skis. Thanks.

I like the sound of 8 on that boat but 6 will work. Either way gotta watch the water pressure. The tempest is great bow lifting prop. Not sure how good it will carry the stern tho. Trophy will do both "decent" great starting point either way.
