Fujimo not on a canal and I have tried to get help for the neighbor I do all I can close shutters run his trash out got the neighbor across the street checking when I'm away. Vets stick together. The city gave him a ticket I got in trouble for taking it off the door and going down and fighting it when I told them I was going to go to help me Howard they got the workers to do his trash and the ticket went away. Don't laugh but since I put juicyfruit gum down the holes I'm not seeing any new holes saw it on utube. Thanks it's a wait and see and I got those soffit screens the ones I got are aluminum.

...cool! glad the screens work for you. have a neighbors house that is simular. tons of tall mature coconut palm tree's in front yard. house sells but new owners out of town for two years & never touch or visit house. TONS of palm fronds & coconuts falling. huge amount. all over the street too. neighbors complain to city & they come & multiple tag the house for neglect & the big mess. i go & tear off the tags, go through the tons of junk mail, newsletters on driveway, pickup all the coconuts & fronds every trash day. lots of ****. i do it in the daytime so other neighbors can see me doing it intentionally. no one else ever chips in. did this for a long time. the owners are there now. never knowing what i did. i dont think twice about helping. not to mention, it just makes the neighborhood look better.

You can stomp the tracks down.....it'll take awhile it sounds like. But stomp them down. This way you may get lucky and see them working on diggin their runs out......then smack 'em or skewer them with a shovel. My dad would spend hours chasing them dumb things.....it worked. But you can also smoke them out. But going back to smashing the runs. It will show you where they are active and where they are not. Good luck

I use mouse traps with a peanut butter and oatmeal mix for bait. Caster oil just moves them till it rains then they're back. Only animal that eats them are skunks and owls. Believe it or not, most survive going thru a snow thrower.

My dad an issue with them so I got him a SIG ASP 20 break barrel air gun and put a decent Vortex optic on it for him. Very quite, he won the war, and had fun doing it... neighbors never said anything to his H.O.A. which surprised me.

I've had those battles before. Sometimes it takes all out dedicated assault to win the Vermin battle. Eliminating the habitat, food and water supply with the correct tools and strategy will eventually win the day. Keep the pedal down. Good luck.

Well did all kinds of treatments and 2 weeks nothing go out this morning and they are back. So tonight a respray juicyfruit gum down in the holes tomorrow pitch fork around the holes and tunnels. If this doesn't work I'm going to gas them the old grand marquis vacuum hose and exhaust down the holes.

I made something like this a few weeks ago for the lake house. Caught 3 mice the first week, none since then but there is no more signs of mice, so I am happy. The only difference is I used a old wire coat hanger and an empty one liter bottle for the center piece. Little bit of peanut butter and it works. Not sure what bait would be best for what you are trying to catch, but someone does.
