Thanks for building such a sweet boat. I’m really had blast today cruising with Ted and his liberator. Hit 103 mph today for the first time. Now I want a 450 lol

    Randy,

I see about 1/2 of the boats going out with trim tabs. Are they primarily for rough water to to adjust for load? do they assist in holeshot?

    TIA

I put them on every boat. They are only mean't to stop any hop that can occur at 62-75 mph. That ONLY happens in flat water with less than a 6" chop and only going straight. Most customers say they never use them, but they are there if they need them. DO NOT use them in rough water. The water pressure can jam the rams. I have tried them for getting on plane but have not noticed much difference.

Thanks Randy, I had heard that they help with the calm water hop. I have also heard some people use them to keep on plane at a slow speed (to tow a tube or skiier).

NO tab use in the rough stuff.
