Seebold Ski Eagle 1987
SOLD
SOLD
I need to get some current pics and will post up later. Just wanted to get the ad up.
Ski Eagle for sale. Hull and Trailer. $7,500. It's had the transom replaced. White with Purple accent. Everything works as it should including a Stainless Marine mechanical trim gauge, temp, water pressure, GPS speedo, Tach, volts etc. The analog trim gauge works if you have a motor with a sender. The 280 does not have one. I've had a few other motors on it. Matching welded Chariot Trailer painted white. I prefer to keep the motor but will entertain offers on the full package. Selling because I need the space in my garage. The 280 is 20 inch. 27 gallon aluminum tank for good range.
These hulls have deeper tunnels than STV, Mirage etc. It takes rough water very well. Lot more space in them than STV and Mirage. Even has a ski locker in the floor. Good little storage spot.
It runs about 88-89 with a 225 Promax. I've seen mid 90's with the 280 but still had more in it. I'm not after last 10 mph, more of an 80mph cruiser.
Boat is located near Raleigh NC.Last edited by DangerNewb; 10-10-2020 at 07:34 AM.

Couple more items. I added seat sliders under the front seats. The dash in these hulls is quite low and it takes some adjustment to get your knees under with correct reach to the wheel and foot throttle.
Also, I installed 2 JL Audio speakers and a Fusion control head. Could use an amp and sub if you want to really kick it up, but it sounds good for hanging out at the sand bar.
I'll get some more pics in the next few days. The boat is in my buddy's garage about an hour away. I'll say this boat looks mint in the pics. Up close, it's a 35 year old boat and has typical bumps and bruises. It gets compliments anywhere I take it and is unique compared to all the Mirages and STVs out there.
Like I said, I intend to keep my motor but if someone wants it bad enough I'll entertain offers. It does have the ROS box installed so redline is 8k plus. I've never spun it up there.Bullet CC w/ 225 Promax - Sold

I feel like the deeper tunnels handle rough water better than my procomp. Somewhat offset by the seating being more forward in the Seebold. Seats are further back in the STV. Thanks for the compliment on her. I've enjoyed the boat a lot.
There's 2 JL Audio speakers and a Fusion head unit on the side boards covering the gunnels. They will be included at full ask. If somebody wants to negotiate, I'll replace the side boards and keep the stereo. They are just a piece of pine board covered with carpet.Last edited by DangerNewb; 09-21-2020 at 10:44 AM.

I had a seebold for along time great boat. When the wind and water picks up you will still be riding not hiding like all the light boats. It's a good riding boat rides like a Cadillac, you can even ski behind it to. I have never seen the your boat but I can tell you what you can do with it first hand. Catxspeed if you don't wont it that's fine but you don't have to be ass just my two cents.

Catx,
2 posts and you're bagging on someone's for sale thread? Nice work ding dong. The boat runs mid 90s with ease and turns better than anything else I've ever ridden in or driven and handles rough water fantastically. Only reason I'm selling is because I bought a 25 Liberator.Bullet CC w/ 225 Promax - Sold

CATX is from California doesn't surprise me a bit!!! Did it ever occur to you that not everybody is looking for the fastest boat on the lake? just saying. I beached next to this boat this summer at "sandybeach" on lake Murry. Nice boat, great lines real nice guy too.

why catx feels the need to do that is puzzling. mind your own business. maybe list your boat so the rest of us can dump on it....

CATX.....what an ass. Opinions should not be shared if not asked for, especially when it degrades another person unneedingly.
I rigged and ran several of these boats when managing a Seebold dealership. Great boats and, yes, not the fastest boats but still great boats. Not everyone needs or wants to run 100, but still like a classic boat.
BTW, what do you have that is so superior? What makes you an authority on boats and allows you to stomp on another vendor? Come on, post some pictures. Let's see what you have.18 Talon/2.4 carb SOLD

CATXspeed, we don't allow bashing here, and showing up on people's for-sale threads to do that is especially unwelcome. Please do not do that again. I removed your previous posts.
