R.I.P. my Son Danny Cyranoski
I have not posted on this site regarding my son Dan Cyranoski passing in a horrible boating accident August 22 2020.
Dan's passion, after his family and friends, was boating.
He loved to race, ride, talk and work on boats.
It is impossible to explain the loss our family is experiencing.
I hope I can regain my passion for boating again one day, but at the moment, it hurts too much.
This is for those who knew Dan.
Love you forever, my son."The Flying Clamato"

Sad to hear. Impossible for anyone to understand that has not been there. Keep the faith and remember time heals.

So sorry for your loss Greg.
Can’t even imagine.
If memory serves, which is questionable these days, I met Dan at the Rumble and he was racing a Hydrostream Vegas (I think was his), and I seem to remember the biggest smile at Point Park while doing so.
Tears and prayers your way my friend.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Greg,
I heard about this Saturday night after it had happened "we were at LOTO and I skipped dinner after hearing about it". You have now experienced the worst thing that can happen to us as fathers. You have been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers-. Dan was a good kid and you did a great job raising him and spending the amount of time you did together through the hobby that we all love. You spent way more time together then most parents are able to due in part to your common love of boating/racing, and family involvement with it. You, Dan, Moose, and Danny were all very fortunate to have the times and laughs together that you did. Life is crazy when I look back at your health issue scares and here we are!!--continue to cherish everyday and love the ones around you brother.
Danny was only 5 years old when you would bring him down to Gun Lake with Dan F., brother Dan, Scott, and myself. I can remember sitting across from Ron's house eating pizza on the bow of the boats and talking to that little guy saying "it won't be long and you will be in your own boat doing the same things we do and asking the same questions your dad is to figure out how to make it faster"....sure enough, he was a true Cyranoski and speed was in his blood.
R.I.P. Danny-you are missed
As a group, please do what you can to prevent putting your family through what Greg and his family are forced to deal with and wear it every time http://www.lifelineracegear.com/
