So I got the boat last June and it wasn't in the best shape but it was usable. Ran it for 2 months with a 2.5 150 and began to see signs that it was in need of a structural repair. I called Brian up and began working through the layout.

We decided center steer with a small floor at the drivers seat. Center and outer stringers with knees all tied into the transom. On top of that I wanted bulkheads every 18" or so for extra hull support. So after the standard core/transom job this is what Brian came up with. I think it turned out amazing! Thank you Brian for the top notch work you did on this project! (cant get the first pic to rotate just spin your head lol)

Since the boat needed paint at the transom, Ron took the project over from there. Matching the flake was a pain but he got it done! After closing all the holes in the boat he started working on the transom brace and gas tank.

With the knees in there we needed a custom tank. Ron's daughter did the math and bet me a box of girl scout cookies that I have at least 30 gals of fuel with the new tank!

Ron had a friend of his on the island do a custom Hydrodip with red carbon fiber. The brace and tank came out sick!!! Big thank you to Ronnie for working his ass off on this project.

Sorry about the sideways pics. Cant seem to figure it out.

Last person i have to thank is Stanley B. Not sure of his name on here but i found him through facebook and he made me some awesome seats!

Going to go inline for now but the plan is to make a bench seat for the back. Only had the front embroidered so the rear is easier to sell later on. Stupid idea. Should have just done them both. Oh well...

Along with the flake matched bucket seats this combo is damn good looking. I'll continue to update as I work on it but enough pics for now!

Well I got the boat all buttoned up. Broke it in with a nice 70 mile ride on Lake Champlain for bayrippers weekend. Nice water on the way down and a little too rough for comfort on the way back. Still im impressed with how this VKing handles and I'm excited with my new top end #s. Cant wait to put some real power on this thing.

This looks like how I would want one built and the way I like to run based on the pictures. Its great to see correct steering, an over kill job on the structure, and true detail to finish work. You made something special that will be around for a long time looks great .

By the way you have a very special passenger to be riding with you in 50 degree weather, rough water, and still smiling "that will mean a lot to you at some point-take care of her"...not many of have that and riding alone sucks-

    Joe
