I fill those exhaust cooling holes that dump in the tuner on those old plates and re drill them behind like the bolt on tuner plates.

Poor man's dry stack. Not really dry stacked at all but it gets the water out of the exhaust flow!

Damn, it's the old 1750 plate with cast in tuner. Somebody just cut most of the tuner off...

Not sure if cut or not. I have only ever seen one other like it?? Was being sold as a t-3 plate but I really don't know. Power head is a 76 I think.

They look like this when unmodified:

All the plates looked like this from 1976 intro up thru '79, maybe 1980. By 1981 the bolt on tuner was introduced and the exhaust outlets were closed down to the rectangle shape.

ID:	473206As I said. I don't know. It came off of this. Do you have one of these so we could compare it too? Whatever it is it's a moot point I'm still looking for a pair of solid upper mounts. This Ridgeback can is one of the original first edition because it actually has removable solid lower mounts

Those early hi-po motors are a mixed bag! Especially 40+ years later. They've mostly been blown up and/or hot rodded and modified. Being a '76 it's a 2.0? What carbs? The early ridgebacks are cool. No 1 piece plates back then either.

Hard to find a "deal" on used mounts. $50 from bob's for a new set is a deal to me. If I have any extra used ones they'll be the anodized factory ones and I wouldn't let a pair of those go for $50...
