Blisters
Do all fibreglass boats left in the water get blisters?

I imagine it depends how long they stay in the water. My bought new in 86 one owner boat sat in the drink all summer long many years in a row and never had a single blister and never took on a drop of water its entire life. Fresh water only.

Not all fiberglass boats are created equal. Water can infiltrate a polyester layup over time unlike an epoxy layup which is water proof. Of course errors in layup or damage can reduce the integrity of any layup...
