This site has been an amazing help for me getting my restoration done. Heck, I had never mixed resin before starting my build. But, seeing other amateurs go about a rebuild, with the help of the pros here, gave me a lot of reassurance that I could probably pull it off, it's almost finished! Still consider myself a newb when it comes to most of this stuff. Be ready for some engine questions when I rebuild that this winter But I try and help as much as I can when I have the answer.
There is a particular group on the dreaded FB thats dedicated to the inline 6 Mercurys. Very good group with very knowledgeable people in there. But they face a lot of what the OP is talking about here. Probably see it a lot more being on FB, seems many people try the FB search bar before google. Or DuckDuckGo.com for those of you who enjoy privacy.
Anyway, they created a great FAQ thread and have it pinned to the top of the page. Seems like that could be something useful here.'78 Hydrostream Viking/'98 225 ProMax
