2001 Mercury 300X XL Sportmaster

I have up for sale a 2001 Mercury 300X XL with Sportmaster lower. Included is all rigging except prop and steering wheel. Hydraulic steering, oil tank, cables, throttle and shifter. I am removing the motor as we speak because I need to get started on my transom. I have a video of it running after I pulled boat from water. She runs well but is tired. Compression is low but even across all cylinders. Never been rebuilt that I know of. About 500 hours. Perfect platform for a rebuild. Very good condition. Just had injectors flow tested and cleaned. Sent reed blocks to Chris Carson, milled blocks and new reeds. Newer alternator plus extra one. New plugs with extra set. New fuel pump in VST tank. Since I am removing to do transom going to put on new 300 Verado to set boat up for fishing. 5,000 takes all of it. Send email for video and more pics. Thanks for looking.
